Competition Rules

Mumbles & West Cross Photographic Society Monthly Competitions

1

Club competitions, normally held monthly, are open to fully paid up members of Mumbles & West Cross Photographic Society only.

2 All entries must a)  bear the the author's membership number (but, preferably, no name) and b)  a title for identification.
3 Slides for projection must be 2" by 2" mounted, correctly spotted (lower left hand corner as viewed, right hand upper corner when loaded for projection).
4 Prints must not exceed 50cm by 40cm mounted, preferably not smaller than 7" by 5", except for specific enprint competitions or specialized processes e.g. bromoil.
5 No entries previously submitted to Mumbles & West Cross Photographic Society competitions may be used as subsequent entries. 
6 A maximum of three slides and three prints per member may be entered in each competition, the two highest scores being totaled.
7 All work submitted for competitions must be the copyright of the member, but may be processed or printed commercially.
8 Annual Trophies are Peter Jeans Memorial Trophies for the best print and also the best slide.  The Rosalind England Trophy for the highest overall score from monthly competitions.
